Happy Easter everyone.
Stuff and Nonsense
Well,
it's all secret squirrel this end, folks, but that doesn't mean I
haven't been busy. Since last year, I've been in contact with Quail TV,
the people who made At Home With Julia
for the ABC, and there is a plan afoot for a new project with them that
may kick off mid-year (hopefully!) featuring myself and Amanda Bishop
(of Julia fame) with a host of others, including Genevieve Morris, my old mate from Comedy Inc. and the lovely Anne Edmonds, my stablemate at Independent Artists.
If we get to do it I will be parading my impersonations on the ABC
which would be great. It would also mean I'll've worked doing that on
every network except SBS over 15 years... An achievement?

With a possible change in leadership of the ALP
before the election in September, I'll may have to dust off the
Kevin Rudd specs for a few more appearances while honing my
impersonation of Tony Abbott (that's me below, what do you think?).
Gotta keep ahead of the game. I'm also working on a Christopher Pyne and a Malcolm Turnbull.

I'm also looking forward to hearing some news
about another possible TV project I have been involved in developing
for a different production company. So, cross everything for me, people.
In the meantime, we have two new chickens. Good layers they are, too.

Anniversary for the Cliffster Here's
me and Eddie Perfect in a selection from Cliff Hanger in Catch A
Falling Star. It's the ten year anniversary of our creating Cliff,
having debuted the Cliff Hanger show at the Melbourne Fringe in 2002.

NOTICES from inside the bubble

December 2009 marked the tenth anniversary of Dave Taranto's passing. Please do yourself a favour and visit The Taranto Show to grab a taste of what Dave was about and why he continues to mean so much to so many.
Midsumma Festival Fun
Noeline had a
great time sharing a little of her experience of life
inside the Dame Phyllis Frost Detention Centre for Women during the
Midsumma Festival... She did 5 ten minute spots and hopefully these
little tidbits will go towards a full-length show, where Noeline will
reveal all (well, not physically).
In the meantime, Noels can still be heard on JOY 94.9 every
Monday afternoon on Manic Monday Drive, with Sparks, Trev (her old
Bingo pals) and Zoe (who sounds really nice...)
